Discover is an independent organization with charitable status. It is the UK’s first story centre for children, with a vision to support and encourage creativity and learning in one of the most deprived parts of the country. A permanently rolling fundraising programme is in place so we can raise £250,000 to keep entry prices affordably low for everyone in the community. With your support 60,000 families, schools and groups visit Discover with a further 10,000 participating in our outreach programmes every year.

Corporate Volunteer Team Building Days
As a charity with limited resources Discover is reliant on volunteer support. We would like to thank Credit Suisse, Accenture and BT who have provided corporate teams who have donated their time to provide essential work. Projects they have completed are creating a reading corner, repainting the Story Studio and planting and maintaining Discover's Story Garden.
