A FREE club at Discover for disabled children and children with SEN aged 5-11, their families or carers.
Mighty Mega is a longstanding free Saturday morning club for disabled children and children with SEN, and their families or carers — with sessions featuring visiting artists from various art forms, including storytelling, photography, music, dance, theatre and animation.
Where?
Discover is temporarily closed and will reopen mid-late May. While our building is closed, we’ll be continuing our weekly Mighty Mega sessions at Grassroots Centre (5 minutes from West Ham station — map here and accessibility guide here.)
When?
- 10:30am–10:45am: A gentle welcome, settling-in with self-led play stations and a snack.
- 10:45am–11:30am: This term, families will be joined by artists Annalena and Bri. Workshops will be focus around a beautiful LEGO Castle. Explore who built this castle, who lives in it and what adventures the castle beholds.
- 11:30am–12pm: Drop-in craft activity and family consultation, informing activities on this summer’s Story Street x the LEGO Group and ensuring we can make it as accessible as possible for families.
The session is completely relaxed, and families are welcome to come and go as works best for them.
