Birthday parties

With two exciting floors of play, party groups are free to explore our fantastic Story World, enjoy a timed visit to Luna Loves London for your party, and discover the Story Garden. Each party includes a dedicated pit stop in a private room for food and celebrations. 

Time Slots

We hold birthday parties at the weekends:

• Saturdays: 2-5pm
• Sundays: 10am-1pm or 2-5pm

Birthday Party Package includes:

• Options for single (10 children and 11 adults) 0r double (20 children and 22 adults) parties
• Entry to Discover for 3 hours
• Timed session in our immersive adventure Luna Loves London (for single parties, this may be shared with another party group)
• A 45-minute pitstop for a birthday lunch – sandwiches, snacks and drinks for the kids, with option to add additional adult food – and happy birthday.

Food

Food is provided for children. All food will be on platters and in bowls in middle of the table to share around 

• Mix of kids’ cheese and jam sandwiches 

• Salted Crisp Bowl 

• Popcorn Bowl 

• Vegetable sticks and houmous or Fruit bowl – Pick which you would rather 

• Unlimited squash and water 

NB:

Alternative options for Vegan and other dietary requirements available.

Cutlery, napkins, cups, and plates are provided for children.  

Birthday cake is not included. Hot food and alcohol are not permitted.

Price

Single Birthday Party £360 10 Children and 11 Adults, including a visit to the exhibition and food in a room for 45 minutes

Double Birthday Party £675 20 Children and 22 Adults, including a visit to the exhibition (your party only) and food in a room for 45 minutes, in one double sized room. 

Optional Extras (be be arranged at time of booking):

Adult Food Option – £30 for 11 adults Variety platter of sandwiches

Adult Hot drink Station – £35  Tea and coffee station in room with biscuits

Party Bags – £6 each Bags include about 6-7 small items such as sticker/activity books, small toys, bouncy balls etc.

Luna Loves Books – £6 each Pre-bought for a discounted price as party favours for each child as a keepsake gift relating to our current exhibition.

Payment

A £50 deposit is required to secure the booking. Payment must be made in full 7 days prior to the party. We accept card payments over the telephone or cash/card at the front desk.

Reservations

We can reserve party rooms for one week whilst you check the date and pay the deposit. After this time the booking is automatically released for someone else to book.

Cancellation Terms

With more than 21 days cancellation notice we will refund you the party if paid for but not the deposit.  With 7 to 21 days’ cancellation notice, we will refund 50% of the fees. With less than 7 days’ cancellation notice we will not refund any of the fees. 

Other information

Cake and party bags can be left at Reception and the cake will taken up to the room by a member of our team. You are welcome to arrive 5 minutes early to set up your foods in the room if you wish, then the door will be locked to keep everything safe. 

We allow some extra cold foods to be brought in addition to your cake, but do not permit hot foods.  

The walls of the room are already decorated as Hootah’s home planet and gold table cloths are provided. No additional decorations can be brought.
