At the heart of Discover are two floors of magical Story Worlds and a Story Garden. These are immersive, exploratory play spaces where children and their imaginations can roam.

The rest of your session can be spent in our Story Worlds and Story Garden. Age ranges indicate what will be appropriate for your child but older or younger children are always welcome to attend.

Hairy Maclary and Friends

Free with your Entry ticket. A celebration of the beloved rhyming classic Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy — featuring a doghouse with furry friends to foster, hidden characters to find around our Story Worlds, dog bones to uncover in our garden, beautiful artwork in our café, and more.

Story Street x the LEGO Group

Join us for building, painting, cardboard sculpting, dress-up play, performance and lots of opportunities to create and listen to stories. Plus, special pop-up events every day. Free with your Entry ticket from 2 - 31 August.

Monster Funfair

Musical Garden: Folk Songs Of The World

Join Niamh in the Musical Garden on Story Street x the LEGO Group for an interactive folk music performance, exploring familiar and forgotten folk songs from across the world and the stories that brought them to life. £2.50 with your Entry ticket.
