UK’s top children’s authors take part in London 2012 Festival

Discover Children’s Story Centre the UK’s first children’s museum dedicated to stories has commissioned the leading lights in children’s literature to write twelve original stories for a new digital web application StoryCloud. This free nationwide digital project will reach thousands of children aged 5-8 and their families in their homes, schools and libraries throughout the twelve weeks of London 2012 Festival and beyond.

Discover nominated for 2012 Children’s Museum Award

Discover has been nominated for the first international children's museum's award for its interactive family exhibitions. We will be battling it out with children's museum's all over the globe from Berlin to Manila, with the winner of the award being announced at Bologna Book Fair on Wednesday 21 March.

Access All Areas: Children Guide the Way to Westfield Stratford City

Discover Young Consultants have had a VIP pass to cross over the awe-inspiring Westfield Stratford City link bridge into what will be Europe’s largest urban shopping centre. The group of local children aged 7-13 were armed with a brief from Westfield, pens, pencils, pads and cameras to investigate, explore and photograph the centre to produce must have Guide the Way: A Young Person’s Guide to Westfield Stratford City.

Monster Success as Discover Story Centre’s New Exhibition Opens With a ROAR

Over 700 people flocked to Discover Children’s Story Centre on Saturday to witness the opening of Welcome to Monsterville. The monster town has been created by Discover and best selling and award winning illustrators Ed Vere (The Getaway), Sarah McIntyre (Morris the Mankiest Monster) and Neal Layton (Emily Brown) enchanted families that had come from London and beyond.
